SUMO Prague 2020 is a project of international gallery cooperation. The first edition was entitled The Odd Year. Nine local galleries hosted exhibitions and an accompanying program curated in collaboration with partner institutions from abroad. The project aims to present new forms of international art to the local audience, often created by artists whose work has never been presented in the local context. Furthermore, SUMO helps to foster international cooperation in the field of contemporary art as well as establish new networks and further promote exchange between artists, curators, art critics and other art world professionals.
